ErgoWizard™ Program
The ErgoWizard program is an automated web-based software application designed to provide accurate and precise matching of employer job tasks to employee medical restrictions as recommended by their treating physician.
This service can be used for both industrial and non-industrial injuries. It is designed to assist employers in meeting regulatory compliance (i.e. ADA, Worker's Compensation, OSHA, Rehab Act, etc.) through detailed task analysis and documentation of modified duty accommodation efforts while also minimizing the impact of limited duty on productivity.
An important feature of our ErgoWizard program is it's use of valid scientific algorithms to calculate load capacities for both medical restrictions and task breakdowns. Algorithms for this application were designed using a unique combination of resources including:
- U.S. Department of Labor’s Revised Handbook for Analyzing Jobs,
- NIOSH Lifting Standards,
- Prevailing State and Federal Ergonomic Standards,
- Applicable Regualtory Rules for Job Accommodation (i.e. ADA, Rehab Act, etc.)
- AMA’s Guide To The Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, and
- U.S. Department of Labor’s Dictionary of Occupational Titles
for load, frequency and duration including ergonomic conversion equivalencies.
All workload demands for lifting, pushing and pulling are verified by using strain gauge instrumentation. All pinch and grasp forces are measured using electronic force sensors to validate any repetitive work activity exposures.
